Have a look at Thomas and Georgetta's blogs - they have already made a start!
Great work :)
I've seen a few of you at the school pool over the last few days - and I"m very impressed with your great swimming skills :)
Some people have asked me about how to label school books. Please use this information to help you.
There is a stationery list available by clicking on the link on the school website or by clicking here
Our stationery list includes jovi crayons. If you are seeking an alternative I also recommend the twist up style crayons (crayola and smiggle both make these, I am sure others do too) - I like these as they are still the plastic type of crayon, can be sharpened and the plastic tube prevents them being broken (and they are easier to name!).
This is our book list and how to label each book
1A5 - Poetry
1I5 - writing
1I5 - handwriting
1I5 - literacy
Clever Kiwi Scrapbook - Topic/Literacy
Clever Kiwi Scrapbook - Keepsakes
Clever Kiwi Scrapbook - Home Learning
Clever Kiwi Fun Doing Maths - Maths
There is a second 1A5 on the stationery list. This is a spare book - you may wish to purchase now or wait and see if your child needs it later in the year.
Please ensure all pencil case items including vivids, whiteboard markers, glue sticks and crayons are named. Ideally, having a pencil case to keep these things in would be useful. I am happy for children to have additional stationery items but please ensure all are named.
Can you Help?
If anyone has surplus swam plants I'd love you to save them for us! I am keen to have a few plants in our classroom at the beginning of the year however the supply I have are quickly becoming sticks!
I am also looking for some cubby hole style shelves - if you have any or can suggest somewhere I can get some please let me know :)
I would also love a few bean bags and cushions for our classroom :)
