We wondered about what the astronauts eat and how they manage with food when there is no gravity!
Today we watched some clips about real astronauts in space - they showed us the way they eat and the types of food they have.
Did you know that the in space the food floats away so the astronauts eat straight from bags?
Did you know that astronauts can't make crumbs or spill water as if they do the pieces might float into the electronics and could cause damage to them?
We worked with our friends from Room 15. We imagined being on a space craft. Then we had a turn at making our own space food. We mixed some milk with some instant pudding mix inside a plastic bag then we used a straw to scoop it out and eat it. It was fun to do this and it tasted pretty good too!
Check out these happy faces - thanks to the lovely Emily who took the photos today.
