As ANZAC Day approaches and we think about the soldiers who lost their lives at war we will remember and be thankful for the freedoms they have allowed us.
In the first week back we are going to be learning about ANZAC Day and what it means to us.
I have found this website called Shadow Battalion On this page you can read about real soldiers who lost their lives at war. It tells you about their story. You may have ancestors who went to war. My challenge to you is to adopt a solider on this web page - you could share a link to the soldier you adopt to your blog, as a comment on this post or as an email to me. I'd love to see how you get on.
Can you research any war heroes from your family? Do you know anyone in the army now? I'd love to hear your stories - can you share them with me in some way?
